Rooms are guaranteed from 3pm. We cannot guarantee that rooms will be ready before then but our guests are welcome to arrive at the hotel and have lunch with us first.

Abbey House enjoys a reputation as the number 1 wedding venue in Cumbria! As such this can involve loud entertainment and fireworks until midnight, particularly Thursday – Sunday. If you think this may affect your stay, please call ahead to enquire about our events calendar.
